What is Brooklyn and Queens?
The Five Boroughs
Brooklyn and Queens are two of the five boroughs located in New York City. The boroughs are like a smaller city or region within New York City. Brooklyn is considered a very “hip” borough and is known for being very trendy. Brooklyn is full of live music, great food, sporting events, and rich history. Queens is one of the most diverse places in the world and home to people from various cultures and backgrounds. The borough offers delicious cuisines from all over the world and is a great place for those that are interested in nature and art.

Some of the top attractions in Queens include: Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens Botanical Garden, and the New York Hall of Science.

Asian Neighborhoods
Both Brooklyn and Queens are full of many Asian neighborhoods. Some of the neighborhoods in Brooklyn are Sunset Park (which is considered Brooklyn’s Chinatown), Sheepshead Bay, and Bensonhurst. Some of the neighborhoods in Queens are Flushing (it is considered the Chinatown of Queens), Elmhurst, and Fresh Meadows.
