It’s the time of the year again, where many college students are applying to Federal Student Aid and Tuition Assistance Program! No more worries about forgetting to apply for financial aid on time every year.
1) What is Financial Aid?
Financial aid is money to help pay for college. Grants, work-study, loans, and scholarships help make college affordable.
Grants and Scholarships are funds provided by the state government that does not need to pay back.
Work-study provides college students part-time jobs to pay off their college expenses.

2) How to Efficiently Apply for Financial Aid?
a) FAFSA Application
Start date: Oct 1st every year
End date: June 30th every year
Any corrections or updates: September 11th every year
b) Gather all necessary materials: remember your FAFSA login, Parent’s tax form, Student’s tax form (if applicable), and use the IRS tools to retrieve tax information.

3) Why is Financial Aid Important?
Financial Aid is important for all college students. It helps them pay off their college tuition, food expense, travel expense, and college dorm (if applicable).
